If constellation figures used in Planisphere program don't satisfy you, you can edit them by this product. With Constellation Editor you can change, add or edit default constellation threads as you like.

Displayed star map can be moved, you can set the brightness level of displayed stars, for better orientation you can show constellation names or its bounds.

Creating threads

Creating threadsThe idea is simply - threads must join stars. Due to this program don't allow you another action. To create new thread click on star (there is certain tolerance) by left mouse button. You can repeat this action as you like. This procedure can be canceled by clicking right mouse button. Anchors are automatically pointed to the center of star.

Deleting threads

There is no way to edit current threads. The only way is to delete them and then create the new ones. To select thread press Shift key and click on thread by left mouse button. Selected thread can be deleted by pressing Delete key.

If you want see the name of your edited file in Planisphere's Option dialog, you must place it to the same directory as the program.

Program consist from single file (100 kB). You must place it to the same directory as Planisphere program. Without this condition program will not work. For run it need some libraries and dependency files so it would have to be installed. Size of this package would be approx. 2 MB!

Other languages

This utility can be easy switched to other language. To do it, download appropriate .zip file and extract its content (editor.ini) to the same directory as main program. If you want translate program to another language, please contact me for additional information.
